Hey guys,

Since I have joined the community, want to show myself with a simple tutorial I have made. Its a simple signature of my favorite game characters - sephiroth.

Hope you like it. Btw, before you start, download the render from here -

Step 1. Open a new document in photoshop with the below settings.

Step 3. Next we are going to take our render and stick it onto our canvas towards the left border.

Step 4. Now duplicate our render layer and change the layer mode to multiple. Lower the opacity to 55% and move it to the left a bit.

Step 5. Duplicate our original layer again and move it to the right few pixels.

Step 6. Make a new layer and fill it with white. Then go into filter --> render --> clouds.

Step 7. In our final step, go into blending options and go into gradient overlay. Enter the below settings. When finished, change the layer mode to vivid light and the opacity to 50%.

I have to agree with Focnr on this one, the background just looks black :/.
Looks like I'll need to brushen up my signature skills then Tongue
It's good and all that sebech, I'd just, fill it up a bit more, and make it a bit more "unique" if you know what I mean Smile
You explain very well and I think just the fact that you want to post tutorials counts for a lot Smile

You should update this with a better background/blending. The color effect on the render is awesome.
