What kind computer do you have? - Balloon - 03-13-2011 11:23 PM So what kind of computer does everyone have? I used to have an eMachines desktop, but now all I use is my Macbook. It's just the basic model, but I like it. Re: What kind computer do you have? - Mat - 03-14-2011 11:02 AM My work machine is an old aluminum (non-unibody) MacBook Pro with a 23" external display hooked up to it. I have a last-generation Core Duo 20" iMac as well, which I'm not sure what to do with as it has little resale value (could run a web server from it?). Finally, I have a tower PC for gaming

Re: What kind computer do you have? - Chridian - 03-17-2011 02:01 AM I have a Asus laptop, due to me suffering from Chronical Economical fuckuppery, it's going to take me a while to save up to a proper one, such as Imac or a custom made Stationary computer. I have a friend that's really keen on building one, as long as I pay for it of course. Re: What kind computer do you have? - Balloon - 03-17-2011 08:52 AM The newest imacs are so nice, there so expensive thought... Building your PC will for sure save you some money. Re: What kind computer do you have? - Chridian - 03-17-2011 09:00 AM Definitely, oh, and can anyone here explain to me why the general idea or opinion is that macs are better for design? They're really not, you're going to be using the same software whether its on mac or windows. The people who say that are just fanboys. To be fair the design OF the mac kills anything else. From the touch pad to osx, they really pay attention to detail. I love my mac and would have trouble switching back to windows. Re: What kind computer do you have? - Chridian - 03-17-2011 09:31 AM I hate windows, I still have it though, I'm really tempted to try Linux and Gimp. When it comes to me, everything that can go wrong with windows, usually does, Bluescreen of death is a common sight

Do you have the wireless mouse/keyboard as well? I use one of the new (I guess they are the standard now, I'm just behind on the times) low-profile Apple keyboards and a Razer Lachesis mouse (also occasionally use a Logitech G5, one of the old one side-button models). All are wired, because I prefer it. Re: What kind computer do you have? - Chridian - 03-17-2011 10:21 AM Logitech; Gamers Choice ![]() hehe I used to always have full logitech equipment when I was gaming, they never disappoint do they
