Cryptic V2 + Other News

Hello everybody, I'm so happy with the growth of this place lately. There have been a lot of new posters lately (mostly thanks to Chridian). Just wanted to say thanks for joining offically . Anyway, lots of upcoming changes and other news I never had the chance to announce. Lets break it down.

1. Cryptic GFX V2 is in the works!
So first off, I'd like to let you guys know that version two is on its way. V2 will include a lot of new features and pages, and is still open for suggestions if you have any good ideas. Lets take a look at what the home page will include (more pages may be added too).

1. Blog - Once it launches, when you go to crypticgfx.com it will take you to the cryptic blog. Don't worry, nothings going to happen to the forums! The forums will just have a nice blog to compliment it now. the cryptic blog. The blog will feature articles, high quality tutorials (+Videos), news, and much more.

2. Themes - Along with the blog the cryptic home page will also have a Cryptic Theme's page. On this page we will have free theme downloads (for members) . In a few months I'm sure this page will be filled with xhtml/css templates, Wordpress themes, and maybe even some mybb/phpbb themes!

3. Resources - This page will be filled with files to help your designing. Here you will find official cryptic textures, psd's, brushes, and more.

4. Contact - Just a simple contact page where members can ask me questions or submit a tutorial/resource.

5. ?????? - We still have one more page open. I'm not sure what to make this one. I'm open for suggestions.

2. Re-Design:
Cryptic GFX is also going to be completely redesigned from head to toe. The new design is going to be simplistic but beautiful at the same time. It will include lots of details and cool features. In fact I've almost completed the blog page already. You can view it below.

3. Chridian The Administrator
Most of you probably already know, but Chridian is now my partner/administrator. Believe it or not, Chridian is one of the oldest members here at cryptic, and as be loyal (and helpful) all the way through. It just seemed natural to invite him to team up with me and be an admin. If you haven't already be sure to give him a warm welcome.

I'd also like to announce that LegionaireX is no longer an admin. He never really posted much and is to busy with other projects.

4. PHPBB to MyBB
Here's some other news that I'm sure all of you are aware of. The board has been converted to MyBB. I'd like to give a shout out to Focnr for recommending it. Not only is MyBB way better on the user end, but also on the administrative side. MyBB is so much easy to work with and does a great job of blocking spam. I hope you guys love it as much as I do.

Well I guess that's about all the news for right now. I'll will keep you updated better from now on. Also, I'll be back in full swing next week. My parents left the house this past week and there has been a lot of partying and no time for cryptic. Things will be back to normal tomorrow.

2: Looks sweet!!

3: chridian is a cool dude, also it seems like he do alot for this page, so Well earned i think (even though i'm pretty new member).

4: i'm not much into scripts, but it seems cleaner in some way!

Gj balloon! Hope this changes will make it bigger. bigger is allways good, if it's kept Tidy and good.

And also, the new changes are awesome, but the most important change we've had, is the new active members that joined, active and friendly.
The foundation of a good community, and I must say, we have a solid crowd with our core members and admin(s)
